Its Good Or It’s Bad

You have two choices when you advertise.

Your ads can be intellectual (information focused) or emotional (experience focused).

Emotional ads take the reader and lead him along the path of experience. He feels and tastes and sees what the ad writer wants him to: “As the light sneaks in on a cool winter’s morning, you feel the soft air tickle your face. You know today is going to be filled with unique experiences that will leave you feeling like there is no place like this on earth.”

However, when you choose the intellectual approach to ad writing, it’s no joking matter.

You know that when it comes to your business you know your onions. You also think you have information that will make great articles to help market your business to the world and are ready to put pen to paper and start promoting yourself.

You write, what you think, is the perfect article and then publish it to your website, your Blog and put it in your email marketing, and then… nothing.

It’s a dilemma many marketers face – how to grab someone’s interest in an environment where attention is hard to come by.

SHOULD WE RECYCLE MORE?

Paper which we take for granted, originally came from ancient China, and was made from rag fibers in 105 AD. and is currently recycled on a large scale, this of course enables us to use less new timber, which has a knock on effect of saving energy, as recycled paper takes less energy than starting from wood pulp.

The world’s consumption of paper has more than doubled over the years and makes up nearly a third of household waste. Waste paper of the right kind can be reprocessed to produce new paper.

Social Media the Trusted Adviser

If you have ever wondered how intrusive social networking has become in our daily lives, or if it just seems that people around you are obsessed with their social media network, then you might just be right. In new research from the US, social media users say that social networking is now one of their most important activities on a daily basis, both on line and off line, and you thought it was just people like me who were obsessed with it didn’t you.

Only email was considered more important, with chatting and web browsing as daily activities ranking lower. When asked to compare online social networking with off line activities, social media site users only found going out with friends more important, that puts social networking ahead of real life activities such as playing games,watching TV and playing sport.
