Paper which we take for granted, originally came from ancient China, and was made from rag fibers in 105 AD. and is currently recycled on a large scale, this of course enables us to use less new timber, which has a knock on effect of saving energy, as recycled paper takes less energy than starting from wood pulp.

The world’s consumption of paper has more than doubled over the years and makes up nearly a third of household waste. Waste paper of the right kind can be reprocessed to produce new paper.

Plastic if not recycled can take up to a hundred years to decompose in landfill, and it is acknowledged that printer supply companies do have an impact on the environment due to the paper and printer cartridges used.

Cartridge SOS suppliers of printer cartridges have taken a great step forward to not only encourage their customers to recycle their empty printer cartridges, Part of their service to their customers is offering a collection service of all used cartridges and printer toners when delivering their order. They also stock recycled printing paper.

A spokesman for Cartridge SOS said “we choose to stock paper that is supplied by responsible companies, also the company uses recycled paper bags to deliver the customer’s printer cartridges in. We give our customers the option to either return empty printer cartridges and printer toners to our delivery team, or if preferred drop them off into the shop. This way we are doing our bit for the environment and in turn helping our customers. We aim to give our customers a quick and efficient service, at the end of the day exactly what they want.” He went on to say “The company stocks printer cartridges, inkjet cartridges and printer toners for all leading printers in the UK, along with printing paper, photo paper, all at competitive prices and a next day delivery service.”

A full range of products are listed on the internet enabling customers to place orders if this is their preferred method of shopping, orders can also be placed by phone or if preferred a visit to their shop.
