If you’re at all familiar with Article Marketing, then you know that the main thrust behind your articles is the bio box or resource box. This is where you put a link to a significant website that you’re trying to promote.

But that can be a real problem when you’re attempting to promote a product that isn’t your own.
Affiliate links can be long and rather ugly, not to mention obvious. So it becomes pretty difficult to get your readers to see you as an expert when your links have all those “=”, “?” and long arrays of numbers and codes in it.
To add to the problem, most of the article directories now strip out html coding in both the article body and the bio box and hyperlink your URL instead. (more…)

If you are running any type of company you are probably looking for any chance of marketing your website, product, or service. Among all the ways to promote your business online you still can get lots of attention with little effort. In this article I want to show you how to market your website using Wikipedia – one of the most visited websites in the world.
Do not spam Wikipedia
I want to tell you right away that I do not advocate spamming Wikipedia in any sense! You will get banned and your article will be deleted. The reason most marketers don’t use Wikipedia is because they tend to spam people. What I am talking about here is indirect marketing, which means that you will be providing people who are interested in knowing more about your company with useful information about what your company does.

The Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia) is a small, long-legged owl found throughout open landscapes of North and South America. Burrowing owls can be found in grasslands, rangelands, agricultural areas, deserts, or any other dry, open area with low vegetation [1]. They nest and roost in burrows, such as those excavated by prairie dogs (Cynomys spp.). Unlike most owls, burrowing owls are often active during the day, although they tend to avoid the mid-day heat. Most hunting is still done from dusk until dawn, like many owls, when they can use their night vision and hearing to their advantage. Wikimedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burrowing_Owl
The burrowing owl when hunting will perch and wait until they spot prey. They swoop or fly up to catch prey in flight. Sometimes, they chase prey on foot across the ground. The owl’s highly variable diet includes invertebrates and small vertebrates, which is roughly one-third and two-thirds of the diet. However, burrowing owls mainly eat large insects and small rodents. This is what I do to build my email list. First thing I like to do is to go over to Google and type in Google insight. From here, I would type in what I am interested in or passionate about, and this should give you some ideas you can use for your topic to build your list around.
I like to start by creating a series of emails that I will be sending out for the first month, which are about 15 emails. I will send some extras, to have a more of a relationship with my subscribers. I like to email every other day for the next 30 days. I will also create 5 to 10 articles for posting to several article advertisers. This is important for starting a buzz to drive traffic to your blog or website right away. You want to start right from the beginning to create traffic.
Next, I like to prepare a power point video for my giveaway so they know what to expect, weather it’s an e-book or a product. I like to do this, so they can have a better understanding of what they will be receiving when subscribe, and it’s a way for the subscriber to get to know who you are. (more…)
With the uncertainty of the economy, legal marketing agency Beyond All Reasonable Doubt Marketing is advising law firms to take a serious look at their budgets. While marketing, advertising and public relations dollars frequently are cut to reduce expenses, marketing experts agree that a down economy is actually the time when marketing efforts should remain in place, and if anything, be enhanced.
“When other law firms reduce their spending and cut their marketing, they have less presence in the marketplace,” explains BARD Marketing founder and president, John Sailer. “This means the time is ripe for a savvy law firm to grab market share – to reach the audience that is still there but who is hearing from fewer of your competitors.” (more…)

Palm Beach County, FL – It’s no secret that law firms who are successful in marketing themselves need an Internet presence, but recently, it’s become increasingly important to offer site visitors more than just basic content to maintain your place on the web and convert clicks to clients.
To be found on the web and have an effective Internet presence, firms need to do more than the basic search engine optimization—the time has come for digital asset optimization (DAO). With “digital asset” additions to their sites such as blogs, videos, online photo galleries and more, attorneys and law firms can compete on the web—regardless of the firm’s size.
“By focusing only on traditional Search Engine Optimization, law firms are missing opportunities to be found on the web,” said BARD Marketing president John Sailer. “Streaming videos, blogs, photos, press releases and other online content are being searched for, and most websites don’t account for these other media types. Remember, YouTube recently overtook Yahoo to become the second largest search engine behind Google. This trend is only going to grow.” (more…)

If there has ever been a medical specialty that is in need of competent marketing consultation, a cohesive and long-term strategy, and effective practice growing tools, it is dermatology. The fact is, dermatology marketing takes a wealth of experience to achieve proper results.
We have seen so many good dermatologists go down the same road to ruins… it is called “Playing the Commodity Game” and it is a good way to harm your business, your reputation, and your referrals.
How often do we see coupons offering a special lower price on common services, such as Botox? It seems every dermatologist and Medi-Spa is in a race to see who can lower their prices faster! (more…)

One of the most misused forms of sales and marketing is the testimonial.
This is a shame because it’s also one of the most powerful things you can do to promote your business to prospects. Testimonials are referrals or endorsements from your customers and serve as statements that testify to your competence, professionalism and ability to deliver a strong product or service. Testimonials are widely used not only because they’re effective but because they are low-cost or free way to promote you business and build its image.
By all means, use testimonials but make sure to use them properly or they won’t deliver much of a punch. There’s are easy ways around the classic mistakes made by so many users of testimonials. Just follow these seven rules to help ensure your testimonials deliver new customers in a big way. (more…)
